When we had our hamster I found our local pet shop the cheapest and best value, they sold it by the scoop and in comparison to other places it was the best buy.

Unfortunately, Nibbles the Hamster died after being sprayed on several times by a rescue cat that we adopted and later had to return to the cats home. If a cat could get an ASBO that one would have had one, and despite trying to keep him away from the hamster he managed to finish him off.

Aw poor you Welshy. It is so sad when you lose a pet.

I agree. best place to buy food for hamsters is the pet shop. I get a bag for 60p which lasts ages, so hardly worth worrying about a discount. Thats the show we got the hammy from and we found it best to stay with that food. We bought a previous hamster some food from wilkos and she wouldn't eat it! It was more expensive, so I assumed it was better but not the case.
wilkos is good for bowls, wheels, sawdust, bedding, feeding bottles, mineral blocks and for birds cuttle fish, sanded cage sheets etc
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...
  • i like the comment "i get a bag for 60p which last ages, so hardly worth worrying about a discount"......i try to think like this but no matter how hard i try even if im just buying my sarny for work and some crisps, drink etc i cannot rest unless ive tried to use a coupon....lol....adictions for you!
