Screens for Party

Having a big party next weekend and were hoping to hire some office type divider screens (the freestanding kind with flat metal feet) to separate out the room a bit but they are so expensive!!
We're just looking for 6ft (or thereabouts) high and enough to cover a gap of 3m.
I was thinking about maybe getting some trellis panels from B&Q but then how would we get them to stand up? Has anyone got any amazing ideas??
