You got to laugh at their pathetic desperation. Apparently houses have crashed in value...
... when priced in Bitcoins.

Unfortunatley there is currently no way of "shorting" Bitcoins in the real sense, but there are plenty of spreadbetting options if you fancy a punt on the price going down.
The price of Bitcoin could go to zero tomorrow althouhg that's very unlikely. The current price surge is being fuelled by genuine fundamentals and the numbers speak for themselves...
£1000 of Bitcoin bought 9 months ago would now be worth over £20000. This beats any other investment hands down (including leveraged property gains) and is unarguable.
That is not "virtual" gains or chocolate tokens, that is REAL hard cash and could be converted today, within minutes, into GBP.0 -

Why not make it BitCoin Crash Imminent.
It'll probably go the same way as the previous user of those initials :rotfl:0 -

Regardless of that, as things stand, anyone saving in Bitcoin over the last 9 months would have seen a 1900% increase in their money.
That is REAL gains that could be turned into GBP today within minutes.
So, in terms of Bitcoin, house prices have indeed crashed.
That is 100% fact.
You can call Bitcoiners all the names you want, but there is no argument to be had.0 -

Well you could argue that the pricing a UK house in bitcoins to demonstrate that they've got cheaper is pointless.
We used to see it with silver which is no more relevant but at least most people have heard of silver.0 -

Well if someone saved a bit of their deposit in Bitcoin (say£2000) back in January, they would now have £40k extra deposit.
That is very real.
And even life-changing.0 -

Yes it's very real and life changing for anyone that was saving a deposit in bitcoins - good for them.
How many do you think we're talking about? 5, 6 people?0 -
Not many I would imagine, but the point is still valid.
I'd guess less than 6 so, yes, the point's valid but in a small almost meaningless way.
How many bitcoins did you pay for that coffee by the way? If you bought it in January then you used £40 of bitcoin (today's value) to pay for a £2 coffee that still costs £2 today.0
