You should probably talk to the business debt line if you haven't already done so?
Don't worry about bank statements as the OR can ask the bank for them directly for as far back as they need to. I think in the absence of detailed information, you need to be as honest, upfront and cooperative with the OR as possible and between you I am sure they will work things out. Good luck

Failure to keep proper records could be grounds for a BRO though0

Thanks guys
I am going to talk to business debt line and cab about it .
Im a self employed handyman so I take it only basic accounts would need to be shown so im going to go through what I have and hope its enough info.
Ill also be honest with the OR when that comes as im worried about a bro for being disorganised? im planning on keeping records up to scratch from now on but cant realy change what ive all ready made a mess of.
Just hoping the hmrc don't drag time out too long before br as its the only way out of our debts as far as I can see and im stressing out over it.0 -
Basically, the OR wants your books so they can understand how you came to be BR - they will need as much info as they can get to do that.
Are you going to wait for HMRC to make you BR or are you considering just presenting your own petition to get it over with?0 -
Waiting for hmrc to do it have spoken with them and its with there legal team now found the people who I have delt with there to be very helpful considering I owe them money.0
