Really want to buy this game, but not willing to spend £35-£40.
Anyone know of any decent deals going on at the mo?

That's one game which will have strong value retention, but you should be able to find a copy in supermarkets in that range.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

I very much doubt you are going to get it for less than that at the minute. Just had a quick look around main internet sites and supermarkets and is in excess of £40 in all I looked at.
I wouldnt imagine you would even get it second hand as who would have traded it in yet. Even saying that I would imagine in a shop, second hand it is still going to be upwards of £40.
I think either wait a good 6 months or more and get it then or suck it up and realise you are probably not going to get it for less than £35.0 -
Don't think you are going to be able to find it for cheaper than £30. Maybe wait until after Christmas because I think it will come down a bit in price then. As the above post says its going to be able to hold its value for a while because there has been so much hype about it, so many people have brought it and there is not going to be a new GTA game out for a long while.0

Try to buy it next year, I am 100% sure that it would be lower than £35..0

If you trade the game in you're being offered £32, so I reckon second hand price has to be around £38.0

Have a look on ebay as the ones that only have a few minutes to go are in the region of £30, and one at 34.99 buy it now.
Ebay would be your best bet I would think taking the usual care when buying something from there.0 -

I would say buying from Amazon would be a good shout too, sitting around £32.99 with £2.03 postage. (don't know if that eBay BIT includes postage).0 -

Oh yes good point, missed that. Some of them do include postage and some don't. The ones that do make it about £3 more expensive, so depending on what they go for the amazon one may be the best bet OP.0 -
If you haven't done an online shop before with tesco, you can get it from there along with groceries up to the value of £60 and use a £15 off voucher - XXHJ74. (You can also do this by signing up to tesco using a different email address but I wouldn't condone that). The game is £44 there at the moment so add £16 of groceries to take the total order up to £60.0

Used copies should start appearing in the shops soon if they are not already.0
