Our developer wants us to exchange tomorrow and complete this Friday.

How quickly will Nationwide and Help to Buy provide funds to my solicitor for new build property?

2 days seems rather unlikely, just thinking logically. The funds aren't guaranteed to hit your sol's account in time (I think even via faster payment it might take up to 7 days). There has to be some communication between Nationwide, the Homebuy agent and the sol, I guess, which will take time. Hope it does work out, but I would be very sceptical myself...

Also, during our application, Nationwide has been taking around 2 days to even process any information and queries sent their way...

Hi. Funds are always sent by CHAPS I believe?

Hmmm, seems CHAPS sent before 2 or 3 PM (depending on the bank) should hit the other account/bank same day, BUT it isn't guaranteed the receiving bank will actually credit it to the receiving account that day... Seems that can take 2 working days in some cases (had to google that ^^)

HTB takes 5 days for funds
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
