Basically I bought the tickets on 30th October, apparently on the 1st of November they gave me some of the money back (refunded the ticket prices but not the booking fees or the secure post I paid another £5.50 for on top), but I haven't noticed as I don't use that bank (looking now and they have done so). Well no-one called me, so my husband is off work, we are all excited, then a week or two ago it dawned on me that the tickets hadn't arrived. I tried to contact them on several days, then eventually they said to call back if they haven't arrived 5 days before, then 2... Now today I speak to someone who actually looks at my reference properly and notices that the tickets have been cancelled.
The event is Wednesday, Micky Flanagan, who I was REALLY looking forward to seeing (as was Mr KK) and now they're saying they don't know why they've been cancelled and that they will have to investigate further (after keeping me holding listening to the same 30 seconds of hold music over and over) that they will need to ring me back within 20 minutes. Which has now just passed, but I will wait, nothing else I can do...
So basically we've not bought train tickets, as I had a feeling something wasn't right a week ago when they hadn't arrived, but my husband has took the night off work. When I realised the other day that I couldn't track the order online I tried to ring again and was told to ring back in the afternoon, just pushed from pillar to post time and time again, today I was firm (but polite) and said I want something sorted. Now I've decided when they ring just to tell them to refund the rest of the money back. Mr KK and I will have a takeaway in and watch the DVD (which I ordered the other day as a little stocking treat for Xmas).
I wouldn't mind but the first date was a date we couldn't make and the event was rescheduled as the poor man's mother died (Micky Flanagan) so we were fortunate to be able to buy the tickets... I was only really treating us so close to Christmas to make up for not being able to see Jimmy Carr last year because the snow cancelled all the trains...!
Urgh... There. I feel better. Sorry to anyone coming on here and seeing this isn't CS related.
I have got back up to $3 on CS and cashed out $24 also. At least I've done something mildly productive by posting that list of offers that worked for me for others. Just REMEMBER TO USE THE SANDBOXIE
Edited to add - In all it has been a cruddy weekend. Broke a piece underneath the bath, husband bought the part and paid that. Now I've just worried as it is MOT/Service time Wednesday (I've already paid for that upfront but I just KNOW there will be some work needed!). Better keep at CS today lol. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Great idea
I spoke to them. My calm has been restored... The man actually sounded sincere. He explained that they were tickets sold for the original date, then returned for a refund, I bought them and then they were accidentally put back through the system. He is giving me back postage, fees and a small gesture of goodwill. So covers the DVD that I've already bought, better than nothing and really I didn't have the effort to be a b1tch to him when he was very sincere, genuine and nice... Either that or good at kissing backsideThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You are chancing your arm if you leave it after 7pm (2PM EST). Although you can push it later. We suggest that if you are going to request your cashout that you do it before 2PM EST on Monday or Friday afternoon.
