Just to add to add this little shocker to make parent more aware.

I did the quiz and was classed as a potentially vulnerable online user because I:
a. didn't know how many people play online games,
b. didn't know which country has the users who go online the most.
Utter rubbish.0 -

Utter rubbish.
Hi
Like you I am a potentially vulnerable online user because I:
Scored 90% and got the online gaming question wrong as well.
Yes, a waste of time.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
I am also a potentially vulnerable user for not knowing about online gaming!
However I also didn't know about where to report fraud - I've never had to know before and clearly I would look it up if I ever needed to know!Indecision is the key to flexibility0 -
I did the online safety test thing and got 9/10, and that is only because one of the photos is so small you have to pretty much guess what the answer is PLUS that site got that answer wrong, it is very easy to make a site look exactly the same as another, but almost impossible to make the address look exactly the same. (Unless you get a domain that closely resembles, such as Cameroons)"Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0

I got 80% for not knowing where to report fraud or which country used the internet the most. I tried it again even if you get 100% it says you are potentially vulnerable user, which everybody is no matter what security you have you can be hit by malware. As a linux user I would also say even smug Linux and Apple users aren't totally safe there might not be as much exploits as there is for Windows but they do exist. A false sense of security can be as bad as no security.0

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'll pass them on to the Get Safe Online organisers.
I agree that some of the questions are a bit basic for savvy web users but if we're helping to reinforce safety tips for the less savvy I'm a happy bunny

Ironic that the first quiz gives a warning that's it's not safe to visit because Chrome doesn't recognise it's SSL certificate & the second one has a survey box popover that makes it look spammy."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0

I got 70% - got Qu 2, 3 & 10 wrong. As above I didn't know to whom to report fraud, how many online gamers there are in the world and picked the wrong symbol for the internet on a phone but I got 100% on the 2nd quiz.0

I forgot to mention it's being picky but the second test said for wireless security hide the SSID, not only does it do nothing for security but it can cause connection problems with some devices. This is one of the big security myths like using MAC filtering.0
