Hello
Anyone able to help me........
I have a wonga debt from 2010 , I am paying them 5 a month on DMP. But I am looking at options over the next 6 months in clearing some of these smaller debts. Does anyone know is payday companies accept lower offers as full settlement?
Thank you

Is the debt still with Wonga ? if so its unlikely, whereas if the debt had been sold to a DCA then they are much more likely to accept a lower offer, how much is the debt to Wonga ?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Yes some will. You're more likely to succeed if it's with a debt collection agency than you are if it's still with the original creditor.
Are you on a self-managed DMP or are you with a debt management company/charity? The reason I ask is that you're supposed to treat all creditors equally, and it might cause problems with your DMP if you pay off a creditor in full rather than sharing the money out between all of them. What will your verse be?
