Probate and land registry

Hi all,
Wondering if I can have some advice. The house I am buying is going through a probate, and from what I have been told, a previous buyer pulled out after a couple of months as it was taking so long. I was told that this should be done by about now, I've emailed both EA and solicitors and neither have replied.
I have input the address on the land registry and it is coming back with no results, but at the side it says it doesn't necessarily mean it is unregistered.
What I am trying to ask is, do you think this probate could already be completed if the address is showing no result?
I'm annoyed that neither has replied, I just want to know!

Probate is outside the control of either the EA or your solicitors.
Hold up could be for any number of reasons.
How long has the delay been?0
