Selling to CEX

I have a load of DVD's I no longer want and looking on the CEX website, they seem to be offering the most money.
A store has opened where I live recently and I was thinking it would be easier for me to take them there rather than send them in the post.
Has anyone done this? I assume the price they pay instore is the same as it says on the website? Also then I would know immediately if there is anything they won't take for any reason

The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

Hi, i've previously sold dvds there. They pay the same price quoted online and do an inspection at the till to check for scratches etc before accepting them. It's a fairly quick process and helps to get rid of old dvds and make some pounds

I have also done this - quote online is what is paid in-store! I found it very helpful

Have a look around online (eBay's completed items search is good) to check on any titles you may have that aren't mainstream (AAA titles) as some out of print / deleted obscure discs can have a substantially higher 'collectors value' that CEX will likely ignore (or not factor in to their offer). The majority won't be worth much, but I offloaded some CDs a year or two back that contained some rare finds - which I sold separately on eBay or Amazon.
I've also read that a lot of CEX stores can run out of cash / float fairly on in the day and will only offer a store credit or suggestion to come back on the following day. There seems to be no pattern to this as I've read of customers trying for days in a row to try and sell (admittedly higher value) items only to be told they have 'no money in the till'.0
