Where to get a dress from?

I don't really want a traditional wedding dress, I was just a 'nice' dress, 60s style halterneck maybe? I haven't the foggiest where to look for one, as I only ever shop in Dorothy Perkins or New Look and figure I could splash out a little more than that on my wedding dress! Where do you recommend?

My wedding dress was Vivien of Holloway. If you're close enough to visit the store I highly recommend it.
For the wedding I wore this dress plus a red petticoat, red bolero (plus red garter) and some amazing red shoes from Irregular Choice and a red handbag from Aldo: http://www.vivienofholloway.com/en/category/50s%20Halterneck%20Luxury%20Dress/1950s-halterneck-luxury-dress/705/
After the wedding I bought this dress and now wear the ensemble to other people's weddingshttp://www.vivienofholloway.com/en/category/50s%20Halterneck%20Print%20Dress/1950s-halterneck-print-dress/1736/

You could also try Honeypie Boutique http://www.honeypieboutique.co.uk/
I wore their 'Grace' dress for my wedding with a pink petticoat (that style isn't halterneck though) and loved it.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
