What to do with Debts not on Credit File

I checked my credit file today (Equifax) and looked at my current defaults.
I had that light bulb moment of actually having the courage to sort myself out and open all those letters and made a list of what I owe.
However what has surprised me is that not all the debts I identified actually appear on my credit file.
This must be because they are more than 6 years old?
The problem is I am currently paying £150 towards one of these debts (currently 1.7k) that isn't on my credit report.
The question is - what do I do about this? Do I continue to pay it or use this money to settle debts that actually do appear on my credit file?
Thanks

There are 3 credit reference agencies and not all lenders report to the same one. You also need to check Experian and Call Credit (free via Noddle) to see if they are on there.

Who is the debt with, what for? When was it taken out?
If it defaulted more than 6 years ago, it will have gone by now.
If you stop paying, they may be able to take you to court, depending when the debt was taken out and if they have their paperwork in order.:beer:0
