Liquidator chasing for debt that we dispute, what is best to do?

Something about 8% interest on debts if CCJ granted I think. No expert here though.
A signed email doesn't gave a list of standard terms and conditions. Was he sent these?
I wouldn't volunteer the signed email, but if asked in court, you cannot lie.
They need evidence to backup the claim, a copy of an invoice isn't enough when disputed I don't think. As I could invoice you 2k for cutting your grass and then take you to court. Chances of me winning are zero I expect.:beer:0 -
Its all about balance of probability of winning. They want to be sure they have a reasonable chance of getting the money. You could offer £120 as full and final settlement, as that's the most you think it was worth, but there again you could argue the work was worthless.
If when they reply they still say you owe the money, ask for evidence you agreed to the work doing as well as their terms and conditions. See if they send the copy of the email.:beer:0
