  • London today and didn't spend anything other than budget :) Had a lovely morning in the V&A followed by a trip to Covent Garden. Normally this would result in massive spending just for the sake of buying stuff! Not today though, thanks to MSE and this Forum :T

Thanks Alex and dawnybabes but I fell completely off the wagon today  Went over on grocery budget as I decided to bake a Christmas cake. First one in about 15 years! Also bought tablecloths and a table runner for Christmas which was an unnecessary purchase :o I think I rebelled after being too good yesterday :(
Weekly spend challenge for this week - £10
Aiming for 5/7 NSDs this week.
Sealed pot challenge still only 62p

  • NSD for me today making 1/5.
Also got £9 back off a colleague who had asked me to buy her something and I then forgot all about it! So £9 is going in my sealed pot as it was unexpected money for me ;)
Today was difficult, especially on the AFD front. First day back after half term and it was unusually tough. I know why - but that doesn't make it easier :(

Sorry to hear you've had a tough day, but great news on your NSD and the £9 'bonus' too. That's an increase of lots of % on your sealed pot :D

Pleased to report I had a NSD too and apart from budgeted Osteo and Dental check up this week, I should manage a run of NSDs.

How's your OH doing on the patches?
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • The OH is doing well thank you and still off the smokes :T Tough couple of days to begin with but he's determined now so that's helped him be more positive :D

Spent £3.70 on lunch today  Went on a course which lasted until 1.30 and they didn't provide any food and I follishly hadn't packed anything for work. Oh well, live and learn:o
