Was'nt sure whether to post this here so apologies if it's in the wrong place. I searched but could'nt find it mentioned elsewhere
Been announced on the news that asda are putting 250 million into price cut's and tesco are to put in 270 million to counter it aparently the biggest investment ever by a company in price cuts.
anybody seen any good price cut's which have been a result of this?

can't see much difference in the website prices for either of them, maybe they've just not been updated yet !0

Just a big con trick .
Their price increases over the last few months have probably netted them double the proposed cuts !

True but if your clever you can use the price cut's to your advantage by buying only the stuff that's been cut or on special so you get a better dealThough no doubt there still making loads of profit's even at the price there selling.

They announce these things all the time. Never really see my average weekly shop drop. About as real as sale as Carpet Right giving 60% off for a limited period0

does asda still do their price match policy??0

Yes they do but they don't shout about it as much and there is no posters up about it any more.
I use this policy regularly to get some items that are on offer at the other supermarkets when I get the leaflets from them with the free-sheets.Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0
