I wouldn't hang on until Monday. I cant speak for all Morrisons Branches nationally but I have two branches that I visit and both sell out of special offers within the first day or two and don't get anymore stock in. Example, a pallet load of Baileys there Thursday morning and only 8 or 9 bottles sitting on the shelf at 8pm Thursday night. Two weeks ago when they had tins of Quality street Roses & Celebrations on offer for 2 for £7 they sold out on the first day and didn't restock. The same week they had Hardy’s and Wolf Blass on offer at £4.99 and run out of stock on the 2nd day of the offer, I asked an assistant if they would get more stock in and was told “No” they wouldn't.
Hope you manage to get some Baileys on Friday, I certainly wouldn't wait until Monday.
Morrisons Inverness is exactly the same!! Every offer they have is sold out on the first day. I got 2 bottles of Baileys on Thursday, but my mum tried yesterday lunchtime and at 10am today to get some but shelves were empty.0 -
Tried the orange truffle last night - will be offering to friends who come to visit.
Not too taken with it TBH - so those of you who couldn't get a bottle, not to worry, it isn't that good. Tastes like orange creams from tins of Roses. Orange creams are one of the last sweets to go in this house!
Go for the price check option in Tesco, or the Aldi version if you want the deal.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Same as my local Morrisons. Sold out on first day and they displayed a 'Sold Out' sign so no chance of any more! This happened with the sweets too! :mad:0 -

Same in my store and they had no Halloween offer sweets of half price mullers!! I used to think Morrisons were good for their offers but my estimation of them has gone right down this last month :mad:No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!

We tried to get the baileys, none were delivered to the store. Tried another and they had 1 box full delivered. Thinjk its another reason why I don't usually shop there. Its ok to do a big advert, but there is no point if there is not going to be any delivered.

I went in 2 stores, both had a full pallet each, I'd say about 200 bottles to a pallet? Maybe 300?0

My DH went to ours at around 11.45am on the Thursday, all the original had gone.
A friend went to the same shop at 1pm and all were gone.
I saw an advert for price matching at a different supermarket. How does that work then. Morrisons advertises £9 bottles of Baileys 2 per cust on the TV the day before. Morrisons mytown run out by lunchtime of the first day of the offer. Does Othersupermarket mytown pricematch for 4 days or for a certain number of bottles or have I totally misunderstood the price matching thing...
Could my DH have gone to Othersupermarket mytown and bought two bottles of Original for 9 pounds each...:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Didn't make it on Thursday as hoped and have decided to DIY in a smaller quantity and up the whiskey content and play about with my Lidl flavoured syrup. If its good enough for Diageo, its good enough for me.
