Hi peoples,
I have loads and loads of old magazines (some of them recent, some about 18 months old). I feel really guilty about throwing them away, it just seems like such a complete waste of paper, money and interesting stuff!!
Does anyone have any ideas what to do with them?
Thanks,
Samm :-)

Give them to a doctors/dentist surgery, old peoples home, offer them on Freecycle. Just a few suggestions.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

There is always a call for these in doctors waiting rooms, also hospitals. If you are doing a car boot sale soon you could sell them off in bundles (e.g. 3 for 50p) or you could donate them to a school or playschool for their arts and crafts box.Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Ask at your local school - they might like them for craft projects or to sell on at their fund raising doo's."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

I've sold magazines on Ebay in the past.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

my local library has a box for magazine swaps ( you get to take home magazines that you would never dream of buying) if it doesn't have a box they might welcome the suggestion. also charity shops sell mags too0

Check through the recent ones for money off coupons first.0

I take my magazine to work and everyone reads them at lunch time. When finished they are given to one of the guys who takes them to his local church, where they are sold to raise funds. I have visions of people then passing them on to friends, doctors surgeries, charity shops etc.Enjoying an MSE OS life0

My granny takes all her old mags to the care home wheremy granpa now lives, so all the ressies, rellies and staff can have a mooch.
I think that is a really nice idea."It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."
