£1 a day new challenge!

So I have been thinking about all those pounds that seem to go missing as the weeks go by. It got my thinking what if I made an effort to put a £1 from my wallet, parking money, loose change, the floor etc in a pot each day, then I'd have at least £365 per year to chuck towards debts or something more productive. For example my car insurance is around that figure and I've just renewed it so if I keep my challenege up I can pay for it in full next October .

So it starts tommorrow and if I forget a day then I have to go back and put that money in! Anyone fancy joining me? Can you find a £1 a day?

Nice one Delly, it could get tough, scrabbling around for 10ps and 5ps to make £1s. If you fall behind you have to go back and make the days up before the month ends.
