Hi all
Have a problem with the aboved named company and you are all going to love this .. they owe me money and no matter how many emails past between me and these people they are always looking into it ... let me fill you all in and maybe someone can advise me what to do next.
Set up a payment plan with comapny in 2011 and this year rang to talk to them about it in May of this year only to discover that my money had been sitting in their account and not paid out as the uk offices had closed down and moved before they set up my debt payments?? I did question why I never received details of closure or why they kept taking my money only to be told by a girl on the phone that this has happen to others and they just pay you back. So decided from that time to keep everything in writing so all correspondence has been through email but after 5 months and several emails given details of account my payments were made into too and me posting them bank statements to prove payment I am still getting the same old line we are investigating this and will get back to you although in September it was be referred to a manager - I did send a email two weeks ago giving them a deadline which runs out in two days but honestly am at a loss on what to do now. I have in recently years suffered very bad health and in the last year undergone two major surgeries, the latest one was last month so cant afford and really don't want to let them get away with this so all advice is very welcome - I know if the shoe was on the other foot I would be getting very rude phone calls and expected to pay immediately but what do you do when they are stalling paying you.

Send them a letter (recorded, keeping a copy) setting out how much they owe and giving them 14 days to pay you or you will start a court claim.
Then if the money doesn't appear, start a court claim:

Are you speaking to the original company, or Experto Credite, to whom they seem to have transferred theur staff and operations?0

Thanks all - I am speaking to the original company Intrum Justitia who are now situated in Dublin Ireland as these payment were made to them directly and not to Experto Credite. They have a member of staff who deals with Intrum UK matters but this is were I am in a grey area - with this matter originating in the UK but being dealt with now in Southern Ireland under which jurisdiction does this fall.0

Republic of Ireland.
This is going to be tough.
I would still send a proper letter before action, though0 -
okay will do a letter on Monday to them .. does it do any harm to also report them to Financial Odsbudman. Would this hinder or help the situation.0
