you're 20 and want a 24k car?? whats your salary? have you checked out insurance prices?

and what does a "spot of bother" mean?

your credit score as in the number means nothing btw, lenders dont even see it

ps insurance searches wont leave a negative mark on your credit report, an overdraft will

I thanked you, John, but honestly you're on a hiding to nothing if you think that more than 10% of people on here know the difference between "their", "there" and "they're".
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

It's strange, I work surrounded by people from all over the world who can get it right, yet find people on here who've presumably been to school in the UK but still manage to mangle it.

I know that people think it's off-topic, but it really isn't. It's much harder to improve your financial situation if your written English screams "Am I bovvered, blood?"

Try to tell people this, though...

You're going to find it hard to get your point across. ;)
