TSB bank

Has anyone had the pain of trying to deal with tsb bank recently?
I have an overdraft with them as part of my dmp. My 6 monthly prepayment plan ended on the 1st sept and like before, stepchange sent my info to arrange a further plan to repay the balance.
Upon hearing nothing towards the end of sept, I began receiving phone calls and letters saying that I had failed to make any contact and would be incurring additional charges of £10 per day.
My payment for last month which normally went into my account on the 25th sept, didn't appear in my account until 11th October.
Stepchange have sent the info a further 2 times to which I have called them each time to advise.
I then receive another letter today saying I am trying to make payments from my account and I was incurring further charges.
The letter states at the top that I can call into my local branch to discuss for which today I arranged time off work to do so, only to be told that it's not possible as my account is being dealt with by their collections centre. Why the f don't they state that on the letter!!!
I then endured another 45 minute call where i couldn't be told if stepchange info has been received and they couldn't tell me if the repayment plan had been agreed.
I asked for their complaint procedure to be told there is not one and that someone would call me back for which I am still waiting.
Now, I appreciate that they are going thru changes with lloyds/tsb etc and I am grateful they have froze interest but that collection centre must be the worst I've ever endured for trying to discuss and get info from.
The letters they are sending are also wrong by stating that you can call into the branch and that I am trying to make payments when I am not.
I have received three of these letters in the last 2 weeks and have been told not to worry as they are just for reference.
Sorry for the rant, just looking to see if anyone else has had this problem as after about 3 weeks I still don't know if my repayment plan has been agreed.

Complaint, in writing, signed for.

Don't bother wasting time on the phone etc.
Be sure to ask for reasonable compensation for your time and costs to date.
Make sure you mention you were told that no complaints procedure existed.:beer:0 -
Thanks happy bunny,
I'll get on to that tomorrow.0
