Sewing kit - last minute repairs - you'll be surprised how many people need them on their big day,
rescue remedy - for the run up,
sleep mask - for a restful night before,
gel shoes for heels - to help her dance the night away,
facial shine / blotting paper - to help be picture perfect,
hankie - obvious,
alcoholic miniature - to help last minute nerves
if i think of any more i'll add them :-)2013 Free Money - £363.44 Topcashback

What a lovely idea
I did a mini survival kit for my bridesmaids and mum when I got married.
I think it also had paracetamol, gaviscon, blister plasters, and a few other bits I can't remember.0 -
Thanks for the replys. I should have said the wedding is not till August and I wanted to do this for xmas. I was thinking more of helpful things to plan. For example bride magazine, bride to be book. Appreciate you taking the time to reply. :T0

Not to rain on your parade but chances are if she is the kind of woman to want a bridal book/magazine, trust me she will have them already!
The Christmas before I got married, my Secret Santa at work got me a bridal magazine and a bottle of wine....the thought was very much appreciated but I did already have a copy of the magazine at home!
Maybe a pretty wedding planning binder thing...though again, I do think if she is the kind to want one or use one, she will already have one (or more!)
So if you really do want to go down the route of linking her Christmas present to her wedding maybe something along the pamper lines, as in, wedding planning can be stressful, give yourself a night off type of thing...and pamper hampers are dead easy to do and you will find loads of ideas for those on this board and elsewhere on the net.
ETA sorry again to be negative but I am a teacher and would find it a bit odd if I got something so personal from a student. Mind you, I am presuming your son is in primary school and I have no experience of that so I may just not be understanding the kind of relationship you have with teachers there! Whatever you do though it is very kind of you to want to get your son's teacher a nice present and I'm sure she will appreciate it0 -
There's a lovely little book on amazon for a couple of quid (sorry can't get a link on my phone) called 'Don'ts for Wives' all with tips from the early 1900's for new brides. Good if she's got a sense of humour, and yes they do a Husband's version too0
