Mortgage overpayment question

Hi there
I have overpayed the maximum allowed on my mortgage this calender year but my fixed term ends on 30th November.
My question is do I have to wait till January to overpay again or am I free to to pay off as much as I like from December the 1st as I will then be on the standard variable rate?

Once the ERP period ends, you can normally overpay as much as you want.I am a mortgage broker.
