Hi Everyone,
I have applied for mortgage with Progressive building society and they have sent in letters to my employer to confirm salary etc. Is this a good sign?

Its not unusual for lenders to do that.
Why are you asking if this is a good thing? Are you doubting whether you will get the mortgage?0 -
I'm just a worrier! Our broker says its looking good just need to send in proof of deposit. I actually didn't realise they asked employer for information. Fingers crossed.0

Your application is being processed in the normal fashion. The outcome depends on the lender receiving the neccessary assurances it requires in order to issue an offer.0
