The half price offers here in Fife for weekend 26/27 October are

Piri-Piri Chicken 540g - £1.34
Oaklands British Apples 1kg - 69p
Fruity Chews 500g - 99p
Smarties or Kit Kat Minis 288g/332g - £1.44

Looks like they are aiming at the kids coming to the door on Halloween.

I hope this helps someone plan their weekend :)

I tried the Piri Piri Chicken last time it was on offer and thought it was fine, if I am near a Lidl that weekend I will get them again and most probably the apples too.
  • We loved the piri piri chicken too, so will be stocking up on that one! Thank you! :)
  • I had the piri-piri moordale brand it was vacum packed if i remember, didn't think much too it.

    Is this brand better?

The one I got last time was vacuum packed so it might be the same brand. Nearer the time they should have it on the website so you can see if it's the one you were not keen on.
  • The piri piri chicken is branded Braemoor. It was this brand which they offered half price in the summer too.

Its the same one, I was not that keen on it either although, I did cook the second one for longer that the packet said and it had more flavour.

    same offer in London.
I like the piri piri chicken. Excellent evening meal for when you are knackered and cant be bothered to cook. I usually serve the chicken with some brown rice and salad or chips and salad.

Am assuming the apples are small-medium size. How many in a bag?

I got 8 cox apples but assume they are a smaller size than Tobrex's.

Picked up 6 of the Piri Piri chicken, they had sold out in the usual shelf but there were plenty in a chiller cabinet by the milk.
