Options for Postgraduate study Loans..

I've got myself into a bit of a pickle recently. I've enrolled on a Masters degree London, already started and am in my second week. From June, I have been applying for the Career Development Loan with Barclays.

It just keeps coming back - first they think my mobile number is incorrect, then it's the statements 'do not cover a full 3 months' I tried various combinations for the bank statement dates and they do not accept it - I'm hoping to receive the latest send back by Friday so I can book an appointment in the bank to get this sorted via telephone with bank staff with me! The bank staff must think I'm mad, they've seen me come in twice a month since June..

If it wasn't for my grandparents paying for my £8,500 course I really would be up poop street! I am now wanting the CDL for living expenses (even with savings it gets pretty costly in London) for about £3000-4000 ... I do not want to ask my parents, as they do not have a lot of money themselves. I do have the option of asking support from my boyfriend (which he has said over and over that he will, and not to worry) I already am borrowing from him - I don't want to be a burden on him, even though he is in full time work.. I am not his responsibility!

I am applying for part time jobs all over the place, bar staff seem not to want me as I don't have experience (don't blame them) the previous place I work isn't giving hours when I can work them (children's after school clubs and holiday workshops) I am applying for everything and rarely get interviewed now. Is it that I have another strong commitment?

After all this time, and reading the forums I am wondering if to even bother with the loan - I have heard such negative reviews. So what I am asking is - can anyone give me some advice on what to do now? What would you do? I worked so hard to get into this University I intend on staying and getting the maximum out of this 1 year masters.

I was looking at 0% overdrafts, but his is a road I really do not want to go down - so from writing this thread I may just bite the bullet and ask my boyfriend to help..

Well done if you made it through this! Suggestions please?!
