How very odd! I'm all for repurposing things to craft something but isn't there anything else, anything at all they could use as decorations!

Brought back memories... 20 something years ago age 18 I went to an Ann Summers party where I bought tree decorations in the shape of willy's. I put them on our (ie Mum and Dad's) tree, it was about a week before my Mum spotted them! :-)

Possibly the fact that toilet roll tubes are not designed to go inside your body

No. They're designed to hold the stuff that wipes cr*p off your ar*e. So much more elegant.

I don't think they look too bad....not something I'd do personally, mostly because my oh would get drunk and tell people that my lovely decorations were feminine hygiene products!

I don't see the problem with it really.

How would you explain to young children what they are using to make an angel?? Talk about taking the innocence away from kids!

The link don't work for me.

But yuck. Seriously why would anyone want (or want to make) Christmas decorations out of tampons...

That site just wants to generate a lot of traffic (did you notice how much adds it has?) And that article do exactly that. A lot of people will read it, just to amuse themselves, some comment, some spread the link (which eventually will add to traffic)

  • Paper doilies make much more elegant angels. Pop a cotton wool ball in the centre, gather up the doily around it, twist it gently once, tying it with gold cotton, which makes the head, and the elegant cutwork of the doily edging makes a fabulous angel gown. Draw eyes, nose and smile with a felt pen. Tinsel halo if required.

I don't think they look that bad - they sound worse than they are. :)
