    Compulsory

Sweat onions in butter add pumpkin bits:, chicken stock, seasoning and a glug of sherry. Blitz and eat next day:)

Thanks for the sherry tip TM, we don't usually put any in ours, we do put lots of garlic and a bit of chilli in. ;)

I will be able to use up one of the finest ones I bought as picked up a really dry one, no good for me drinking.

Got to be the train then really!:D

altho I travelled by train to brum during a storm about this time of year about 10 years ago and the line got closed due to trees on the track..keep an eye on the forecast and if they advise against travel, heed the advice!!

Difficult one. Think I would rather be stuck on a train than driving in the storm. Problem is Paddington is such a pain to get to.

Love this from Les Mis <3

My favourite musical, must have seen it a dozen times and have downloaded the film onto my kindle.
Alfie gives me goosebumps when he sings.

I used a £11+ pp today. Sa had to call supervisor, they then scrutinized my receipt & told me company rules stated as it was over £10 I had to put my name & phone no on the back of the voucher. I refused point blank so in the end they just accepted it.

...And where is that in the T&Cs??:( Seems like another 'rule' dreamt up by a member of staff 'on the ground':wall:. See - I told you we know more than they do! (Why do these occasional people simply make things up and, if it is exactly as you have reported it, why lie to a customer? I don't see what they get out of it; to tell plain untruths to someone. Why not just be honest, if they don't know what the 'rules' are, and say they don't know, they'll find out (if applicable), instead of making something up? Or maybe it's a 'store-specific' 'rule', creating inconsistency and unfairness of treatment compared to others who happen to use a different store that doesn't have the rule.)

Oh..hello again anyway!!:D Sorry I'm just being rational.

Although, on other side of the coin, perhaps it's highly likely that if we return something they won't have a clue what the rules of the APG technically say!

Yes I bought 4 deals & it took 15% off the full price = £4.80.

Sorry, don't think I explained it well. I meant how was your PP ? Did it still think you'd paid full price for the wine in the meal deal please?
To answer your question, yes the pp did see the wine at full price but it was capped at £10.
Sorry I don't know how to put a copy of my receipt on so I'll try to explain.
    I bought 4 meal deals for £40
minus 15% off the 4 bottles of wine = £4.80
So I paid £35.20 instead of £40. Each meal worked out at £6.30 taking the pp into consideration.
If I'd only bought 3 meal deals on my workings out they'd work out at £5.81 each. So better to only buy 3.

Think I also read that you should rub it on our feet - it really helps. Apparently :D

I was to;d he same by a wise 'ole one years ago. Vicks on the soles of the feet, then put socks/sockettes on over night and all sweated out by morning :D
has always worked for me or at very least given muchly improved symptoms
