Mrs aau says Sainsbob is heaving. and that there are so many bargainous toys on offer she's struggling to choose uh-oh :( I might regret sending her for these RTC crisps

I've told her to split toy shops into £20 or so on conveyor, swiper her nectar card and hopefully get conditional spend vouchers

I can just see her putting £100 through on one shop and screwing up my nectar account with a "50pts when you next spend £100" coming out at the end
Oh Ye of little faith ...am sure you have her trained better than that :D:rotfl::T
  • Just recieved a prepaid envelope from Carlsberg to send an unopened can back to them after my complaint
. I thought they would have sent a box. Ah well, tough cack if it opens in transit.

I know the feeling all to well...when we did the shampoo glitch recently, the wife wanted to look at the shampoos she normally buys first...and then proceeded to start adding normal items to my basket...she got a stern talking to ...then i apologised in case i got in too much trouble! :o

It's even harder trying to explain to a nine year old that wants to try Shop & Scan for the first time that, no, we can't "..just put some more random things in so I can scan more." It was hard enough training that attitude out of my best mate (her mother)! Now I have to start again! At least I get them at an impressionable age hopefully! :T:rotfl:

And I notice that "random" does seem to be the word of the moment for 7 & 9 year olds!

good morning all hope the elite are well hugs to all espeacily logie xx
and also missing mad hope you are ok..

all the reminiscing last night of the dtd lamb and salmon which i still have a few left made me:D but also the missing people like terryw i remember the above post and it made me :rotfl: the second time round as well.
i remember the old days but fell like everthing the elite has evolved people come and go but the heart of the elite still remains the same, its a place i can come to for comfort and support when i need it, for a laugh sometimes a few tears to be there for others when they need it and to save a few pennies
i hope most others feel the same xxxx:A

I only did one DTD and it wasn't via elite. I found myrtleturtles coupon thread, then fell into here.

There has always been so many different personalities and opinions. The glitches were kept here mainly but I think as people have gotten poorer they look for more help. Also other side is folk who have just because they can.

Its a reflection of life, people are people.

But yes its a lovely place to be among folk who understand what sainsbugs is, the printer dance and 50% is simply not a bargain.

    Hugs and support a plenty

    Love to ALL !

Be strong underperky. My mum had been smoking for longer than I've been alive but she's now gone over a month without a single cigarette. No pills no patches, just willpower. You have to decide it's something you want more than the fags. All the best.

I quit nearly 2 years ago, had a dream last night of having a ciggy

Good morning everyone , it is cold dark and wet here but forecast predicts it will brighten this afternoon , I went to the stop smoking clinic last night, the first step to being smoke free , I have been given a prescription for Champix , was just wondering if anyone had any success with these before , I am sorry to say I really love my fags ,but my specialist says he wont intervene with treatment unless I stop smoking , the damage has already been done but he says he can intervene and improve my quality of life if I stop , I must admit I am a bit angry that he can say this to a smoker , whilst the same NHS doles out a substitute for heroin , and treat alcoholics ,smoking is bad I know but legally taxed by our government , so why should treatment be denied for something they have been taxing me on for years ..... rant over .... I know I have to stop ...so my battle with the old nicotine budda will commence next week when prescription will be filled ....I know its mind over matter ...... just got to get my head round it

Best of luck underperky. My Dad tried to give up smoking twice without success. Then he said something 'just clicked' the third time and he never smoked for the rest of his life.
