I know but I dont think my landlord would allow it on the basis of him being shafted before

    I'll have to ask him

The whole point is that if the utility bills are in your name (and they should be) then you don't need the landlord's permission to ask for the meter to be changed. Why should you be penalised because the previous tenants had financial problems? Same as you don't need permission to change supplier. Any landlord who keeps the bills in their own names is running a risk. (Rules maybe different in a HMO, but I'm assuming you rent the whole property not a room.)

Can I ask if someone saw the offer on the Carling cider. I checked it this morning but it had disappeared by the time I had returned home. I must take more note the valid to dates. Thanks

Yes, it appeared on msl last night, then disappeared from view this morning, on both mine and Mrs F's account.

    No idea why.

    Shame really as i'd formulated.

    Hi all

Just back after a week's holiday...OMG you are on a new thread and I have nearly 300 pages to catch up on *gulp* :o

If anyone feels kind enough, please, please can you update me on any glitches, etc (PM if you prefer).

Last time I was here (10 days ago ish), it was BNI, Guylian, Radox, plus Flo Flo's...to give you an idea where my head is.

Am I the only one that actually worries about what they are missing out on when they go on holiday :p LOL.

Great hols...now back to do some serious Elite ness :)

Am off now... reading backwards in the meantime...
