I've just tried a DTD for the first time, it didn't go so well
here's what the end of my reciept

    sub-total 76.90

    then multi buys savings
    Ready meals 3 fr 2 c/free -2.50
Finest meal deal Fr 10 -19.98
    No pos -6.00
    Total savings -28.48

    Total to pay 48.42

3 Meal Deals should have cost 40
    sugar was 94p
    Total should have been 40.94

I managed to get a refund for 8.42, I tried to say that the wine 6.00 and the 2.50 meal deal and a DTD should be applied but I was told no.

I also bough 5 potnoodles at 1.00 each which I should have had a pricematch for, also didnt get this, same potnoodles in Asda are 50p each.

So I'm going to pop the reciepts in the post to Tesco customer service and see what happens. Hoping they send me a gift card.

I see that I should have saved
    2.50 pot noodles
    2.50 3 for 2
    6.00 wine
    8.42 on meals deal

Giving an extra saving of 19.42
then if you DTD gives a saving of 28.84

I shall let you know how I get on

Can you scan your receipt in please as hard to work out from this. Would have thought 3 meal deals should be £30 not £40 as you're saying? Also, aren't your pot noodles £5 not £2.50?

What a wonderful glitchy weekend! :D

Was at As for opening, just waiting for my impulse results. Nice to know I've got a few things to choose from on my next shop there. Isn't this lovely?!

Depends what you're trying to achieve. 1 of your meal deals will trigger, because 2 puddings will make it trigger. It will get complicated at CS because they'll be confused by this. You should, however be ok on the other 2 meal deals, but good luck with them working out what your DTD is...

It's the Garnacha btw, not to be confused with the Grenache.
