Don`t want to contradict you RN but yesterday I bought 4 meal deals each with the correct "unflashed" cornish mash and 2 seemed to work as a discount of £18.98 came off leading me to think maybe its still the garnacha that isn`t working.

    Hi

Did you buy them all together? Was pondering this yesterday, thinking about getting more than one in the same shop, but if you get 2, the sides and desserts are interchangeable and the till will "see" the correct number of component parts iyswim, so one meal deal will go through as OK and one won't. If 4 meals, 2 will, 2 won't ? I think :o:rotfl:

Was definitely the mash in my store as in the first shop I had bought 2 sides and CS at first thought it was because I hadn't bought a dessert, so they tried the garnacha and main and 2 x the correct mash and it went thru fine at £10.

Ha snap beat me to it, Miffy and flo flo- yes its the Garnacha as per snaps picture not Grenache.

Be careful as a lot of Mr T not putting Garnacha in chiller cabinet with the meal deal but it does work so check wine aisle if its not in chiller cabinet. They usually have the other in chiller but this won't give you a pp.

I know exactly what you mean, but would never have thought about that, I see now why you got little bottles to get the 20% finest wine discount. :T
