  • Has anyone bought the Rump Steak today for Clicksnap?
If so , does it compare to Sainbobs?

I went looking for it but none in my local :(

    Mr M dictionary???

Great Value - Significant price increase
    Stonka - Standard price
    Now - Usually more expensive
    Half Price - Normal price
Crossed out price - Price none of us would ever pay
Better than half price - Rubbish, as not 'better than free'
When it's gone it's gone - It'll be back in six months' time at the same price

Any more??? Any more to be added later!

There's "Pick of the shop" I noticed too when I was in. Just seems to be a bog standard 50% off offer.

    It's only a game

Every Penny Matters - To our profits
    :D

Every penny does matter when the product has just gone up in price from £1 to £2.18.:rotfl:

A hundred and seventeen times over.

    Also...
"Hurry - offer ends this Sunday" (in respect of items on an offer that I don't think is a very good one) - No need to rush, thank goodness this expensive price is due to come to an end:j - hopefully it will be cheaper next week than it is at the moment.

"Now Any 2 for £3.00" - Price was £1 each last week.

"Half price! £2.00" - Price next week will be £1.50 with no offer label on it.

Or - this week - on the Dog Treats, 47p with a big Savers label on the shelving - for the Savers Beef 100g treat. Whilst the Savers Chicken 200g treat, next to it, just has a mere 47p small price on it.

You can bet people will go for the one that has the prominent "Savers" label on it, especially as the word "Savers", appearing in larger size than the 47p price indication on the other item, suggests it is saving you something. I think 'they' (i.e. some research company, whether on behalf of a major chain or on behalf of a consumer body) looked into something similar to this area and found that, regardless of what big label was put near a product, it would cause an increase in sales. A type of beer (I think it was) had a "Shoplifters will be prosecuted" sign underneath it - that particular beer did sell more!

This idea seems to have caught on!:D

I'll leave you with it - and get onto the SP/M lists! (Guess which dog treat Savvy might put onto the M list later?)

well surprise surprise from my superlist - all accounts suspended, no cashback paid out for the whole of September, they want personal copies of all private birth certificates etc to reopen the accounts, so I am well out of pocket there as it is too long for the items to be returned to store. I hadn't even got that many things, was just beer at the start of September when there was no limit on items!! They have only suspended them because I have nagged about so many missing payments!!

but I am part of the elite and 2 can play that game :o

Seriously? You mention all accounts - so you have more than one? What have they said?

Just thinking out loud, but I cannot recall seeing anywhere in their T&Cs that you can only have one account per person though assume that is implied? Only one account can use one Paypal account.

I had Ray Bans ;) Mine were Light Havana Wayfarers and I really liked them.

Get you! Classy sophisticated lady and all that. ;)

To those that have a Debenhams Beautiful Club Card: I got an email. Apparently if you go to the Benefit counter and ask for a mini makeover, they should adorn your palm with a free large sample of PoreFressional or whatever it is. I went over the other day and told her I didn't want a facelift but could I have one of the samples anyway, and she gave me 3. Perfect for Xmas present hampers. :D:D
