That might be a good enough reason for me to take mine and the deans back for a refund tomorrow.0 -
I've bought plenty of white label, reduced to clear products that are priced differently on MSM than what I pay at the till
APG always picks up the price I paid for them BUT I've never had the opportunity to test it out on something that has a multibuy in place on MSM. I'd love to know if the (higher) mulituby price takes precedence
I think it does. That's on items which, even on RTC prices, appear on the APG - unlike the ones that appear on the receipt as "REDUCED", which do not appear on APG at all unless the SA does a manual override. So... items that are RTC but not yellow-stickered type reduced (unless you get an override on the latter type of item when buying the A mbuy quantity that is cheaper elsewhere that than phantom mbuy. If you are *not* buying (or if there isn't available, perhaps because there's no mbuy on the standard price of that product at all) a phantom mbuy quantity in A to compare that vs elsewhere, then you'd need to get these second types of items without an override, or get them separately, or on a comp. where the competitor is N/A - otherwise they are most likely, if overrode, to appear at much cheaper price (the price you actually paid) for A vs inevitably a higher price elsewhere, as you bought a whoopsie in A).0 -

No chicken in my local.
That's the trouble isn t it there s only the two of us at home now and even though I give my kids some we still have too much food. Had to get rid of about 7 rustlers yesterday as were a couple of weeks out of date so we cooked the meat and offered them to the dog who turned her nose up at them. This is a dog who I ve seem eat her pups poo and Riley s sick :eek0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Excellent idea.:T:T:T I like how you've had that thought. Really, it should be an automatic thought every time we see anything (that isn't yellow-sticker reduced) that is lower priced individually than the mbuy pricing for that item (or those items) on msm. There's no guarantee it will work of course but I think it might well!:) I'll try and remember next time - 'every time we see...' etc. It's kinda how my brain works most times I feel!!:rotfl::rotfl::D
@ ehem...

FloFlo A moneysaving elite targeted action of receiving massively discounted shopping with an online supermarket, booked in advance using advanced knowledge of large future price discounts on the delivery day, discount codes and other offers meaning that groceries delivered are discounted massively, and sometimes free.
I just did a floflo on a Mr.T's order and got £60 of shopping for £13 to be delivered in the morning.
Wonderfully summed up:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

None of Ts 3 for 2 offers worked for me on apg.
I bought 3 self raising flour
3 1kg icing
3 454g icing
All came back N/A (as is the risk when competitors have a 3 for 2 promo and items are priced differently, that's why I'm amazed SK works at all)
There's no risk about it. The items will return N/A vs a 3 for 2 when they are different individual prices. It's in the T&Cs.
This rule - about "promotions difficult for msm to compare" - applies to 5 for 4s, 3 for 2s, bogofs (2 for 1s) etc. It does not apply to pricing of the likes of "any 2 for £1" or "any 3 for £2" at competitors (regardless of what the individual prices are). It's quite simple. It's why I thought the Special K mispricing would work on the APG:p:rotfl:.0
