    Xmas Saver!
That is seriously cool. The no 1 definition too.
    Hope flo enjoys the notoriety.
Be nice to get elite into dictionary too so we can all order 'elite' items.

    Thank you.

Shingles is Not Contagious, you can only get it from Chickenpox Virus which remains dormant in your body and surfaces if run down, resistance is low, etc.
You can catch Chicken Pox, but not Shingles.

Other people CAN catch Chicken Pox from the fluid from the blisters. That's why Flo should get herself to docs ASAP & NOT go to school as she could start all the kids off with chickenpox. It's really hard not to scratch so she will probably spread it inadvertently over the whole school

IF you go to docs early enough then there is a treatment that works well IF you get there within 72hrs. If you don't get there quickly it can go on for weeks/months and when you have the blisters you can start chickenpox in someone else.

I'm pretty sure Flo shouldn't go to school again until she's blister free. I know when I had it badly & missed the 72hr deadline I was told I was infectious and not to go anywhere near people who hadn't had chickenpox. Horribly painful it can be for months too - well after blisters have gone.

Ooops forgot to say I was in Boots in Leeds and saw some half price jewellery stands. On it I found an attractive diamonte initial necklace which I thought would make a good stocking stuffer for any 8-16 year old girl. So brought for my DD who is 9. Was £5 reduced to £2. I went through self service - so be careful if you buy them as it went through at £3 not £2 but SA put it right when I explained - so do check as you pay on this item. Looks very nice. HTHS
  • Pleased logie and morgy enjoyed their tasting evenings.
Morgy I think if you ds was one of only a few kids then they should have given him a bag even if the just put a choc bar or two in as he obviously interacted well and enjoyed it all.
I agree that people shouldnt abouse it by taking several children but then again some have to take kids with them. Nice bag with bar of choc seems the perfect child friendly bag. Very nice of lady to give him her chocolate. As always so many nice people around.

Taking mum next week but it is at a store we have never been to so not problem with radar. Didn't have a chance last time as nearest was 45 miles away.

Busy week so a bit nocturnal tonight. I love this time of night so peaceful.

  • Morgy very well done on stoptober.
I will pop into boots tomorrow as have my eye on some scarfs which might get reduced. Going to look at baby wipes anyway.

Well yes - I love this time of night too. But I know I won't want to get up tomorrow if I don't retire soon - meant to be keeping some energy in the tank for the kids. So au revoir until tomorrow peeps - happy glitching......:T
