Missing/delayed mail anyone?

I'm in the Ravenhill area of south Belfast and haven't received much mail over the past fortnight, even though I usually get quite a lot. I'm expecting a few credit card bills and some DVDs which I know were sent out about a week ago.

Is anyone else experiencing delays or losses? I don't know my neighbours well enough to ask them.

Probably not relevant to your case, but a letter posted (presumably 1st class) in Belfast city centre on Wed evening / Thur morning still hasn't reached the wilds of Tyrone.

Earlier in the year I almost lost out on a job because the letter inviting me to interview arrived a month late so it does happen! Ironically I got the job! :D

Could be worse - when I was starting work with my last employer, they had interviewed two guys with the same name at the same time. Unfortunately they posted the job offer to the wrong one, so he had quit his old job and turned up on the Monday, only to find that he shouldn't actually have been there and was now jobless. And, of course, the guy who should have been there thought he had been turned down.

Unfortunately this incompetence wasn't anything new from that department...

I'm in the Belvoir area and ours has been fine, my brother's in the Saintfield area and they've had terrible trouble there with one particular post man delivering all his mail to other people who haven't been passing it on.

    Has your postman changed lately?
