Substitutions for creme de menthe and creme de cacao?

I want to make Grasshopper pie at some point, as i have stumbled across the recipe by accident (never heard of it before today); but wondered if there are any experienced cooks out there that would be able to recommend something else i could use in place of these two ingredients. The first one that springs to mind is mint leaves or flavouring, but possibly might not work if you need the actual liquid from the drink itself.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't tasted creme de menthe or cacao but would peppermint/choc essence work instead - used to be available in the baking sections of the supermarkets.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Peppermint/mint essence or chocolate essence would work, although they are far more concentrated so you'll only need a spoon or less of those. If it calls for substantially more liquid you may have to make the liquid up with something else--depends on the recipe.0

I think being as i don't know what the original article tastes like, it's worth a go. I've found a recipe that leaves out both of these ingredients, so may just follow that instead, being as the quantities are something like four tbsps of each.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £89.67/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. I've found a recipe that leaves out both of these ingredients, so may just follow that instead, being as the quantities are something like four tbsps of each, so not much liquid at all really. Maybe i can add more cream than required as that's one of the ingredients too. Now to find chocolate essence .... !GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £89.67/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
