  • I remember a colleague treating a blouse stained with ball point pen by soaking it in milk! This was about 20 years ago but because it was so unusual it stuck out to me, a quick google might reveal more. If not there is a 'Stain Devil' esp. for ball point pen stains, usually found in Wilco's etc.

    Hiya,

Hairspray removes ink stains. Spray quite heavily with hairspray and then wash as normal, I had to do this yesterday as my son and a friend had a pen fight  as you do?!

Or try an overnight soak in a bucket of Napisan - quite often getes things like curry or tomato-based stains out too ;)
  • I have used milk to remove ink as well, it really does work

  • The biro stain devil is pretty rubbish. There was a relatively small mark on my daughter's school top, and it took 3 goes and a lot of rubbing/waiting to shift it. I wouldn't want to tackle a large area with it, and frankly wish I'd just chucked the top in soda crystals like my gut instinct told me to!!!

    Good luck!

  • Hubby had a cup full of ink stains, filled it with milk, left over night and all the stains gone, milk was a lovely blue colour . Haven't tried it on clothes though.

  • WD40 might help. Spray, leave for around 30 mins and then rinse.

    Some more ideas
