Thank you Marg2k8!
I just joined twitter recently for the competitions. Can you tell me ..if they mention the winner will it automatically come up on my twitter?
Thanks and sorry for the bother0 -
They will either Direct message you to say you have won, so make sure you follow the company who are hosting the competition.
Otherwise they will mention you via a congratulations @ message direct to you.
Keep entering, I went months at first without a twitter win, I added comments between my RTs and made it more of a place to have fun whilst entering contests - and I have had a few wins there this month.
Best of luck xWishing you all good luck!

59086 tweets! And the majority of my prizes come from twitter
You could say me and twitter get on really well going on an all inclusive holiday to turkey soon won on twitter so keep trying0 -
I enter quite a few Twitter competitions daily, and have won very few prizes.
Early in the year though I won £250 Marks and Spencer vouchers, and it's this that keeps me entering Twitter comps.
They're very quick to enter - nothing lost, nothing gained0 -
Thank you Marg2k8!

hiya,
If you have it linked to your emails, then you'll get an email saying i.e 'wonderfulprize' has mentioned you on Twitter' then you can click on it and read what is says.
BTW, I've won about 5 times on Twitter after about 4,000 tweets. I don't enter every Twitter comp though. Some are rather lucky though, I have seen the same names come up a few times, so hopefully they'll pass a bit of Twitter lucky comping dust to the rest of us*

As others have said, it's worth entering as it is so easy.
I am close to 2000 tweets and have had one random draw win off twitter, and two effort comp wins. It is worth spending the time on the effort competitions as there are normally a lot less entries.
I hope you have your first twitter win soon x£630/ £20140 -
I haven't done too bad on Twitter wins. Before I joined the forum here I won a pair of theatre tickets, a selection of handmade greeting cards and a DVD.
I have now set up a separate twitter account for my competitioning and have yet to win.
