Pork hock , roast or slow cook ?

Just defrosting one of these , which is best , roasting or slow cooking , I don't want to make soup , but rather have it as a dinner meal tonight , I have most standard veg and store cupboard ingredients .

I like to do mine in the slow cooker, I Just put it in with carrots, onions, peas,potatoes etc and leave it on low all day, then just season to taste.Slimming World at target0
