Tips for budgeting when overdrawn

Does anyone have any tips for budgeting when your right in your overdraft ?
It sounds silly but because I am never at £0 ..or with actual money in the bank I am struggling to get my head round whats actually budgeted money and whats going further into overdraft money.
On my budget I have accounted for repaying the overdraft off, but once all the money goes in, and the bills start coming out I get confused.
Hope somebody understands what I mean...I fear I am speaking gobildygook

It sounds like you might need a bit of a spreadsheet, so you run your monthly budget on paper, and just check the ins and outs of you bank against it daily. Just an idea? It's hard to tell what suits you. But before I nailed every pound down on paper, the frequent slightest thing in my bank would throw me as I wasn't expecting it. Still does lol, but one day my spreadsheet world will shine in its perfection ha ha . If only I was tech savvy enough to make it add up on its own. Really I use it like squared paper, but looks more impressive! Can't believe I just admitted that, I sound a 100 years old0

If you're feeling uncertain, get a gift card for the supermarket you use most and put the value of a weeks groceries onto it? That way, you still have eating money at month end.0
