My debt free journey so far - inspiration

Dear All
I just came across my total debt as at March 2012 by accident on a 'lost' spread sheet on my PC.
It was £12559!!!
In truth it must have been more than this as I started making a concerted effort to pay off debt once and for all in Nov 2012 when my marriage broke down (she was at least half of the cause of it but I also am to blame).
Tomorrow it will be just under £6000!! That is in roughly 18 months.
It has been a nightmare being deprived of so much I can tell you and it is not over but light at the end of the tunnel.
Roughly speaking it was a combination of credit card debt and a loan nothing else.
A family member who I can confide in about everything lent me £5000 to clear some credit card debt so I didnt have to pay interest and I only have £650 left to pay (£430 after tomorrow).
Then I have £5500 to pay off 0% credit cards.
I cannot believe I have done this much in a relatively short space of time - still had a bit of a life - could have paid a bit more off but it would have been really painful over 18 months.
So without boring you with too much detail it can be done - no big secret just trying to get it all on 0% has been a godsend plus cutting back on gas/electricity usage, need not want and frugal with the food/household shopping.
I am a reduced yellow label addict!
Good luck everyone!

Glad I can be inspiring others as I have received much inspiration from others on here and plenty of tips which has helped.
It is hard but you get into a rythmn (?) and get used to the life - I plan for the future now when I am debt free - keep the goal in mind.0 -
