mortgage valuation question

I was recently turned down for a mortgage by nationwide because I am a contractor, they already had done a valuation on the property so I have lost my £225 fee.
My wife is now gonna try get the mortgage on her name as she is now selling her flat in London ,my question is is there anyway which she can use the valuation that was carried out for me on the same property instead of having to pay another £225 for the same thing I have already paid for?
