Homemade liquid Soaps

Options
i have a couple of family members with varying stages of exzema and people always forget and just buy them normal bath stuff that they cant use... so i wanted to make some hand soap in a pump (not frothy stuff) and some hand moisturiser.. had anyone got any friendly recipies that wont affect them?

I wanted to make something, even though this is my first crafty gift for xmas! eeks!!

thanks guys!

I haven't tried this myself but this looks like an easy 'recipe'

  • making a cream is easy
what you want it to do depicts what ingredients you use
i make a shea butter cream, but i make my cream 80% shea
you dont have to do that

shea butter, cocoa butter, almond or olive oil
    thats the base
melt the cocoa butter and then whip in the shea and oil
a good shea will be soft enough no heat is needed
and add any essential oils you want

making liquid soap can be a tad more complex
even using distilled water you risk it going moldy in a fairly short period of time, a few weeks, rather than a couple of months
start adding inhibitors and its no longer as friendly as you hoped
