From a company called debt managers (service) ltd for my next account debt. This debt has been part of my DMP (with cccs or step change as it now known) since June 2010 and my monthly statements from next acknowledge the monthly payment they receive, so i am confused to why this debt co is now involved? They are requesting full payment if £371 or court action will be taken. Any advice?

2 debts on this forum for £371...maybe that's the new 'number' for hounding people.

Really! How odd. I will ring them, thanks.0

Yeh haha, someone else dealing with a phone company or something...maybe they got you mixed up, how cool would that be ha.
Ring your dmp advisers or company or whatever, but if you have to contact debt collectors or anyone like that, always do it in writing.0 -
Thanks! I've spoke to step change and they said they'll sort it!0

Sometimes debts are sold on, even though you are paying them, the letter you received is just industry standard introduction letter, pay up or else, stepchange should sort it out for you, it may happen again though with this or more of your debts so keep a look out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Just write to them and say the following.
I'm on a DMP
My account number is xxxxxxx
I will be paying you the agreed amount.
That's it, that's all you have to do.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013
