    WD40 is not actually an all purpose answer to every mechanical problem and it certainly is not a lubricant. Although a lot of people seem to think otherwise.
    I can afford anything that I want.
    Just so long as I don't want much.

    Tesco sell a basic bike chain for £4.

    That would be better than using a damaged chain that will probably knacker all the cogs etc.
