Help to buy part 2

Hi there

I'm after some advice please

We are in the process of buying and selling a house

We got a dip of Leeds for a 95% mortgage but until we made the offer and paid sol fees we were told the dip was for a 85% Ltv

Anyway moving on

When the htb mortgages were announced 3 months early we was over the moon

Currently having a 120k mortgage with Halifax and hoping to save the erc we waited till Friday to apply for there mortgage

I was told I have passed the income and affordability checks

I have a good credit score which is b rating

But said his system is saying they don't lend above 80% to anything other than a rated credit score

He thinks it's a bug in the system and had 13 out of 14 applications turned down on Friday and his area manager was trying to sort this

I have never missed a payment on anything, I have had a mortgage with Halifax for 10 years and never missed a payment and before I had a young one I regularly over paid

The mortgage advisor doesn't seem to think I need to worry but that's what I do

Also I'm not sure if this is how it works but my only debt is a car fianc! that will be settled before I complete, this is a deal with the mortgage, is that why I have a good credit rating instead of a excellent credit score

I'm so worried, as we are in a chain and if I can't get a mortgage I'm going to let a lot of people down
