Has Tesco 5% off 6 bottles wine discount been stopped?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I did several searches and can't see that this has been asked or answered anywhere.
I have just had a Tesco delivery including 6 bottles of wine and noticed they hadn't taken off the usual 5% for 6 bottles. I looked back at the receipt from last time I bought some wine and it also didn't have the discount on there. Have they stopped this deal now does anyone know? It's been going on for years so I am very surprised not to have heard about it if it has stopped. If it is still on I shall be paying Mr T a visit with receipt in hand!

Funnily enough, I was looking for the same answer. Our in-store shop on Sunday included 6 bottles, but no 5% discount. I'm annoyed as I usually check the receipt before we leave and I could have enquired, but was in a rush and only saw it when I got home. :mad:I don't want to achieve immortality through my work, I want to achieve it through not dying0

The current offer seems to be 20% off any 4 bottles of " Tesco finest". I guess you could double it up easily enough if you like any of the wines in the range. Got a couple of decent Muscadets and a brace of Sauvignon this morning and the discount went through fine.Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0

Thanks, but the 5% was a permanent thing, they would run the 20%/25% special from time to time but it would then go back to the constant of 5%
I am in store tomorrow so I will go and ask CS and report back. That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -

Thanks very much Tygs, I think that will save me money in the long run, at least I won't feel compelled to always buy six now :rotfl::beer:That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -
For someone like me, who buys wine for the month ahead to obtain the discount, this is very disappointing and is simply a 5% price hike by Tesco. In addition, today I noticed their shelf prices for wine appear to have generally been increased. I will simply now buy elsewhere - Sainsbury still appear to be offering the 5% discount on 6 bottles and other retailers, such as Lidl, have decent offers.0
