Well this is perhaps the strangest question I have asked, but here goes -I have some green beans, an onion and some bendy carrots to be used and I have heard of people making soup with their leftovers. I have some soup pulses - SO - what do I do? doesn't seem like much veg variety though I do have some frozen mixed veg - can I add this or will it go soggy? MANY THANKS.
I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Course you can add some frozen veg if you don't have enough "fresh" veg at the bottom of your fridge. Use some stock cubes, you could add a can of tomatoes if you like, add some herbs and obviously some water. Let it simmer for around 30 mins or so, and then you can blitz if you like.0

I cleaned out the bottom of our fridge this morning (the outlet pipe had got blocked up and water had seeped under the bottom tray). Looking at what I slooshed into the washing up bowl, I can honestly say I would want to be making any soup with THAT... _pale_Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
